How does door-to-door cat transport work?
Cat Valet begins by reviewing the route and your cat’s care needs, then documents a journey plan before pickup. Pickup and delivery are arranged at the agreed addresses, and the driver follows the written food, medication, comfort, communication, and handoff plan throughout the ground journey.

Review the trip
We evaluate mileage, timing, access, border or ferry considerations, and whether the requested journey is a practical fit.
Build the care plan
Before departure, we document food, water, litter, medication, comfort items, communication preferences, contacts, and meaningful observations.
Confirm pickup
The people at both ends confirm the handoff details, supplies, written instructions, and any last practical information.
Travel and deliver
Your driver follows the agreed plan throughout the ground journey and completes a personal handoff at the destination.
Communication
Agree on the updates before the wheels turn.
Communication preferences and expected update timing are agreed before departure so expectations are clear for the driver, the person who arranged the trip, and the person receiving the cat.
If circumstances affect the estimated timing, the relevant people are notified using the agreed contact information. Emergency and veterinary contacts should be current and reachable throughout the journey.
Your preparation
Familiar supplies make the plan possible.
You provide the carrier and the food, medication, litter, comfort items, and documentation agreed upon for the trip. Label supplies clearly and avoid packing unapproved items where the driver cannot identify them.
